Job Tracker is a personal project under active development. It has not been audited for security, is not designed for scale, and provides no guarantees around data availability, integrity, or confidentiality. If you found this app and are thinking about using it to track a real job search — please be aware of the limitations described below before storing anything you care about.
What this app is
Job Tracker is a personal side project built to scratch a specific itch: keeping job applications organized in one place. It is not a product, not a startup, and not a service offered to the public.
It is shared informally with a small number of people for testing purposes only.
Data we collect
When you sign in with Google, we receive your name and email address from Google's OAuth service. This is used solely to identify your account within the app.
Any job applications, notes, and documents you add are stored in a cloud database associated with your account.
No expectation of data privacy
This application runs on shared infrastructure and has not been hardened for privacy. Your data is not encrypted at rest beyond what the underlying database provider offers by default. Access controls have not been independently audited.
Do not store sensitive personal information — salary details, personal identification, confidential correspondence — in this application.
No expectation of data persistence
This app may be taken down, reset, or migrated at any time without notice. Database schemas can change in breaking ways during development. Your data may be lost.
If you use this app, export your data regularly using the export function in Settings. Do not treat this as a system of record.
No third-party data sharing
We do not sell, share, or transmit your data to any third party for advertising or analytics purposes. The only external service your data touches is the database and authentication provider used to run the app.
Cookies and authentication
We use a session cookie to keep you signed in. No tracking cookies or analytics scripts are used.
Your options
You can stop using this app at any time. To request deletion of your account and associated data, contact the app owner directly.
Since this app is not intended for public use, there is no formal process for data subject requests — but reasonable requests will be honored on a best-effort basis.
